Enchanted Fairlytales

This is the section where I actually write about why this site came about in the first place... I would like to say first though, that though Cardcaptor Sakura isn't my favorite anime (that honor goes to Neon Genesis Evangelion) it is still up there in my top five anime list.

I have only seen a few episodes of the DUB just to see what it was like and I didn't like it at all. Not only were the voices bad, they even pronounced the names differently. It was awful. And it was HEAVILY, HEAVILY edited. I guess I'm glad that I got to see the original and got to read the manga as well. I wonder what CLAMP would think if they ever saw their creation ruined... I don't know. I just didn't like it. I thought Sailormoon was bad when it was still in the hand of DiC but "Cardcaptors" is worse. It totally lost that innocent touch that Cardcaptor Sakura had. It sucks that such a nice anime got ruined by Nelvana.

Anyway, through the whole series, Anime and Manga, I was always interested in Syaoran mostly. He's a great character in my opinion and soon Takashi starts throwing his funny lines at everyone and he instantly got to be one of the most enjoyable characters as well. And although Eriol is a little creepy with his little smirk and all that, I enjoyed his character, as well as his creations, Nakuru and Spinel. Nakuru is so funny and Spinel is so serious. The very opposites of Sakura's own guardians....

So, because these three cool guys hardly have any shrines dedicated to them I decided why not? At least to me I get to be happy to voice out my opinions about them and get to write something that might be of interest to anyone who decide to go through this site.

And why the name Enchanted Fairytales? Well think about it for awhile and it will make sense. The series Cardcaptor Sakura is basically a fairytale in its own right. All these characters live in this one happy place called Tomoeda, they are all pretty much happy, the main character is faced with a tragety and then a challenge and by the end of it all, there's a happy ending. Isn't that a fairytale? And these three guys all ended with a happy ending as well. Maybe except for Yamazaki (who never had anything bad really happen to him though he does tell some very enchanting lies ^_^), both Syaoran and Eriol faced challenges and faced their own specific hardships throughout the story and they lived "Happily Ever After" also. Sure there are some dark sides to this anime as well, but don't all fairytales have dark sides too?... So it's perfect.

Enchanted Fairytales started on a very hot summer day in August of 2001. After watching my good ol' tapes of Cardcaptor Sakura and going through websites about CCS, I knew I might as well start my own little site. There are many Sakura, Tomoyo, Touya and Yuki sites out there. There are even a few Tomoyo/Eriol and Sakura/Syaoran too but I haven't seen one yet just dedicated to the super kawaii and funny guys of Tomoeda Elementary.
