07/18/2004 Entry: "Where have all the cowboys gone?"

Work hasn't been so bad lately. I'm suprised. Lately, I've been getting off work happy! ^_^ Of course there are those occasional annoyances with customers... but what job doesn't have that? So whatever I guess. Although, I STILL find it extremely annoying when they just don't tell me the movie OR when THIS happenes (which is every single day... more than once):

Me: Hi! How may I help you?
Customer: 2 adults, 2 seniors, and 1 child
Me: .......... what movie?
Customer: What? *puts ear against the bars*
Me: WHAT movie?
Customer: ohhh hahaha.. I guess I'm supposed to tell you that.
me:......
Customer: I,robot.
me: K, I, Robot at 430?
Customer: No, the one at 4
me: That one is pretty packed, you might have to sit in front.
Customer: what? *puts ear agains the bars*
me: The movie is PACKED you might have to sit in the front or not together at all.
Customer: so whats the next time?
me: 430
Customer: K, I'll take that one.. and when do they start seating?
me: It depends if the theatre's ready but usually 15-30min before the movie
Customer:okay
Me: so 2 adults, 2 seniors, and 1 child?
Customer: yes
me: 27.75
Customer: What?
me: 27.75
Customer: 27.75? Wow, I remember when the movies were 4 bucks. (grr, I get that so much especially when i work nights... I mean you KNOW it's gonna be expensive so why do you fucking go and then complain?? stupid fucktards) *searches through purse... finds money, gives me money, then she says she has the Regal Crown Club card, so with her stack of 50 cards.. she doesn't find it.. she takes out all her receipts and coins... and finally finds it. I give her the points.. then she continually askes how money points for this and how many points for that.. then the get sooo cheap that they complain about the points system because they want SMALL POPCORN so goddamn badly. So I call the manager.. they tell them what I just told them.. and they're all fine.* and that is my day at the theatres dealing with customers

ANYWAY!

Well, I been having some weird dreams. It's quite funny. Sometimes I feel it's so real that I could either feel the hurt, sorrow, happiness, betrayal.. that happens in my dreams.. sometimes I'd wake up with some tears. It's amazing how dreams seem so real and when you wake up it's a shock that i was all just a dream. Sometimes it's a BIT dissappointing (teehee) but sometimes it's relieving as well. :) I had two dreams last night. Both with the same person but different stories. I went to the bookstore today too. and I looked up dream interpretations.. and it said good stuff. I only remember the good stuff though. I wonder though.. do you have certain dreams so you can realize what you really desire or what you truly feel? I think about that a lot. In fact, I think way to much. I think about what would happened if I saw this person. What would I do if I this happened. Or what would I do and how would I feel if I saw this person with another person? You'll always see me staring off into space because I'm usually thinking about what would happen or what I wish would happened or what DID happened. I might be too much of an Idealist. Maybe that's why I'm dissappointed with people at times. But if so, why am I dissappointed with specific people and mucho happy and comfortable with other people? I guess there will be people who I can talk to normally and people who I can't. The people who I can't are those who won't just have different views that me or those who can't accept opinions that differ from theirs. I never have dreams about the people like that. I must have dreams about those who I really care for or else.. I wouldn't feel sad, happiness, or anything emotional like that when I wake up.

Okay, well..... i'm lost in my thoughts.. soooo.. i'll go now.
