MAUREEN'S FRACTURED FAIRYTALE
Once upon a time, a girl named Maureen was born in a little town called
Appleton. It was the morning of
December 1, 1986, and her parents were very happy. There was something about Maureen that made her different. She hated dolls, dresses or anything that a normal little girl would like. She loved cars, guns, was always running around everywhere and the thing that made her real different was the fact she didn't have hair! Maureen admired her dad very much. She wanted to be just like him. She wanted to go wherever he went. Maureen always wore pants, cried when she had to wear a dress. She always got scrapes and bruises for being so active and playful! Soon, Maureen was starting school. She was sent to a catholic school, where she made many friends. A few years later, her parents decided to moved out of this little town, to a bigger and famous city called
Las Vegas.
Maureen was very suprised to the change even though she was very young. It was a big culture shock to her and her family. Maureen and her two sisters, were all starting new schools. The oldest sister, Cindy, was continuing High school, Middle sister, Zusie, was starting middle school and Maureen was continuing Elementary. It is almost ten years since the move and her family is now settled. Maureen is in High School, attending
Advanced Technologies Academy. Also known as ATECH, it is a magnet school specializing in many things... mostly mathematics and science. She is majoring in
Engineering Tech, and is very happy there. Her two older sisters are in college. Maureen is not taking anymore religion classes because after many many years, she finally got

Maureen's personality is very unique. Though she is very nice and generous, she is irritable and has a temper. She's easy to get along with, fun to be around, a great listener (however, not to lectures and slow & deep voices) and is laid back. She's always honest, loyal to those she loves, optimistic and independant. Maureen tends to daydream alot and sleeps often. She's forgetful, impatient but she loves to go places. However, she's lazy and procrastinates. She is
Filipino with black hair which is styled like an actress named Mandy Moore. She has brown eyes and is pretty tall for a filipno - 5'4". She has glasses and contacts. Maureen dresses in whatever she's in the mood for. She doesn't care what everyone else is wearing or what is "in", she is just herself and doesn't really care what people think of her.
She loves to listen to music. It consists of mostly alternative bands. Maureen's favorite band is
Weezer and
Green Day is second. Her other favorite bands are Garbage, Rancid, Nirvana, Oasis, REM, Beastie Boys, Third Eye Blind, Smashing Pumpkins, Stone Temple Pilots, Live, 311... and alot more. She also loves the Beatles, Madonna, Jackson 5..and others. Her first CD she ever bought with her own money was Hole, yes, Hole.
Maureen also loves
anime. It is a tie between
Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou and
Touch as her most favorite. Her favorite male character is now, the one and only,
Uesugi Tatsuya from
Touch. After atleast two years, someone actually beat
Ikari Shinji from
Evangelion as her favorite. However, there is a tie between female characters:
Soryu Asuka Langley also from
Evangelion and
Sakura Tsubaki from
Kareshi kanojo no Jijou. Maureen has seen way too much anime for her to name... it's just crazy..
