Act 5: Whenever there's an end...
There's always a beginning... A new life.
"Is that it? Is that the end?" Asked the Prince. "Did the cat find someone special? Did the cat love the little girl?" His eyes were hungry for an answer. And so the Princess read on, "The cat was so happy. He found someone that wanted him. 'I was told I was unwanted long ago,' the cat said. 'But now she is there to want me. And I am so happy. I want to see tomorrow. That feeling of being wanted. Everyday seems like a dream.'"
Kyo and Kagura animated!

Awww... Aren't they so cute? The anime pretty much followed the manga very well in Kyo and Kagura's "lovely" relationship but the one difference is that, since the anime ended while the manga was going on and ended before the chapters of Kagura's confession, the anime portrayed their relationship with a bit more cuteness to it. The cuteness in the manga is really reserved for Kyo's relationship with Tohru but the anime for some reason, at least in my opinion, has Kyo actually sort of "liking" Kagura's affection. But liking is such a strong word I think.
Kagura is still violent. Kyo is still rash. But there was one episode where Kyo actually smiled because of Kagura. Tohru even noticed it and so Kyo got mad at her and told her it was nothing. I really loved the part where she made him hold her hand or when she forced her Valentine's Day chocolate on him. She was also very understanding when Kyo transformed into his other form and ran away only to have Tohru run after him. Yuki asked her why she didn't run after him herself. She told Yuki that Kyo already knows she loves him and accepts all of him. What he wants right now is someone else that really doesn't understand but can accept him and welcome him also. The anime sort of extended what happened after Kagura stood watching from the window. I loved those words Kagura said to Yuki. All in all, I just think they're cute together. Kagura's memories of when they were little... of when Kyo called out to her to take her hand... "Kagura ne-chan! Kagura-ne chan!" and her smiling... it was just priceless. It was just so very innocent.
The Seiyuu!
Seki Tomokazu is Kyo's seiyuu/voice actor. I love Seki-san! He gives his voice to so many characters that I love and all of them are so very different from each other. I mean one minute he's the total happy
Shindou Shuuichi of
Gravitation, the next minute you hear him as
Kinomoto Touya of
Cardcaptor Sakura and the cutest of all the
Weiss Kruez guys,
Hidaka Ken. There's also
Chichiri of
Fushigi Yuugi and the cute
Shinbo who has 'teacher love' in
Chobits. Come to think of it, he does a lot of CLAMP related projects.
Kamui in the
X movie and even Icchan's weirdo, lapdog, assistant
Ogata in Angelic Layer. I think I liked him as Kyo best. His acting for Kyo in that painful scene with Tohru was just so sad. Awww. I did also like him in
Neon Genesis Evangelion as
Suzuhara Touji. I was such a fan of Touji and Hikari.
Mitsuishi Kotono is Kagura's seiyuu/voice actor. I think plenty know her just by one anime alone and that is
Sailormoon where she of course gives life to Usagi/Sailormoon herself, along with Queen Serenity and Chibi Chibi. Being an EVA fan for a long time, she plays the sexy, tough,
Misato with an air of cool. Next to Asuka, I loved Misato best. I want to be just like her! Well, without all the psychological problems that is. Heh. Kotono-san gives her voice to many CLAMP projects as well. Like in the
X movie where she lend her voice to play
Satsuki and Masaki's aunt
Shoko in
Angelic Layer.
