Are we really that crude?! Another sort of FLAME

I really don't get it. I really don't. People want honest reviews yet, whey they actually get their site reviewed, they COMPLAIN, tell us we're RUDE and what not. I am so sick of it. We are here to help. We are here to tell you the truth and if you can't take the truth because of your pride well what the hell are you sending your site to us then? People just want praise. And the more honest we are to them the more they think we suck. Here is another sort of FLAME towards Yumemiru. She did not e-mail me or anything. Instead, she put her site on Haitus... And here is part of what she wrote on why her site is on haitus and my e-mail reply to her. My words again is in RED

Hmmm... I just dropped by your site to see what was up and how you felt with my review and then I saw this... I don't know why you just didn't e-mail me and told me your rant... But here I will comment on them OK?

We're on hiatus, basically, because of that, and a very *searches for the right word* blatant review by a group of people called "Yumemiru Reviews". I was considering putting this site on hiatus and keeping it open and trying to work on it during this very busy time in all our lives, but the review was just the kick in the rear that I needed, and I realized this site wasn't so great as everyone thinks it is. However, not just because my feathers are ruffled I think that a lot of it has to do with the review site.

The people that run it must think they're really good at webdesign, making layouts, and watching anime.

If your site happened to be some other anime site that I have never seen, trust me, your review would have been much shorter. If you never liked us in the beginning why did you send your site to us then? Were you looking for praise or something? Did you think we were going to praise you even though you have wrong information? I just don't get it.

And if that's going to be your career choice in life-- sitting with the television on and drinking soda all day long while AIMing people on the computer... all the more power to you. x.X We're all proud to say we have lives.

Uggghh! This REALLY pissed me off! We have lives too. That's why our reviews take awhile to get to people because we have school, we have jobs, we have RL lives, we have friends, and boyfriends and what not. That is not even relavant at all. At least we take TIME to review your site instead of stupid one sentence "Oh this is nice" comments like other review sites. Just because I corrected you in several of your information I don't have a life? Like I said, Cardcaptor Sakura is one of my favorite anime. And if I see something wrong I will tell you. Your previous reviews didn't tell you about the wrong information and so I figured I might as well tell you. I guess you don't like to be corrected.

I'm not linking directly to Yumemiru Reviews, because quite frankly-- I was not pleased with their service and the way they handle their buisness, so why should I bother advertising them? However, if you're going to miss Cyber-Genki while it's gone, why not drop our friends *sadistic smile* a "friendly" letter here? We'd all appreciate it.

Because of US and because you want to make it a lot better. Why was our service bad? Because I gave you the right information to correct you? I did not bad mouth you in anyway. I was telling you the honest truth and if you can't take that. FINE. I'm so used to people sending their site to us, taking our advice, telling us we suck and then not liking to us because they got a bad review... Yet, they link to other review sites that gave them a much better review but whose advice did they take? Ours! I really don't care anymore. I'm just here to help people.

And you're telling visitors to send us e-mail? Fine. That is so IMMATURE but I'll welcome it. What are they going to say exactly? DAMN YOU AURORA-HIME FOR TELLING HER THE TRUTH AND GIVING HER THE CORRECT INFORMATION! HOW COULD YOU? HOW EVIL CAN YOU BE? ::Ahem:: I just gave you my opinions. I corrected your wrong information. I told you that if you want to be a good "resource" for CCS then you better put more stuff in there. It was empty because it lacked opinion. After all that, she did e-mail me back and apologized and actually erased what she wrote about telling her visitors to send us e-mail and those other hateful remarks she said about our site. She still thinks we're a bit evil though because we are blunt.

I don't get it people. Don't take our reviews to heart. It's just an opinion of ONE DAMN PERSON! But what really hurts is that people think we like degrading others' sites. I hate it when a damn site gets into nightmares. It just shows me that there is NO creativity in the net anymore. What's so hard about being creative and different? What so hard about giving out your opinions? If you just do this folks, you will have a great site!

I made this site because I wanted to give out my opinions and help people. Asuka, Daimira, Miaka Ann, Chiori, Eternal Angel and Usagirl joined me because they also like to help people and be honest. Some of us might not be as blunt as others but we are all here to serve you and help you. And if you can't swallow your pride don't send your site to us.

I just hate it when people are so disrespectful. We take time to review your site despite our busy schedules and yet we get hate mail because we aren't nice enough... But yet, THEY TAKE OUR ADVICE anyway and yet not even a goddamn thank you or at least something that says they appreciated the review.

WE ARE HUMAN TOO FOLKS! We at least want some gratitude or something. I know for a FACT that we are NOT the greatest. Please don't think that. We know that everyone of you worked hard on your sites putting hours of work into it BUT you have to make your site something to be remembered. That is ALL I want out of you. TO MAKE ME REMEMBER your site. Be Creative, Be original, be different from all the sites out there. BE SOMETHING!
