So you want to know about the Dream Guardians that run this sanctuary? And what our requirements are for having a Dreamy site? Well just click on our names then.

Aurora-hime // Asuka // Eternal Angel
Rebo // Amber-Lin // Fisheye

Yes, I am named after that dear sweet sleeping beauty herself. Who probably had wonderful dreams of a Prince as she slept for years and years.... I am the founder of Yumemiru. I like looking through websites that have a lot of content and new information. Your site doesn't have to have an awesome layout. It can even be done by Pagebuilder if you're inexperienced with the whole HTML thing but just as long as you have content that interests me, you'll be dreaming sweetly. ^_^

Just to let you know though, I am very sarcastic and critical so be warned on that. But I am in no ways "mean". I'm a very nice person and will try to do anything to help you out. After all, isn't that what WPRs are for? I do look for layout though. Sometimes if your layout just doesn't look right, it can fend off potential visitors on your page....

Content, layout, nice graphics and good writing is what I look for. I love to read so I don't want to see a site with just profiles. Because everyone and their mother's know what "Tsukino Usagi" means by now and what her blood type is. Be original.

This is Asuka, named after the second children on Evangelion. She's actually my favorite character. I believe I'm sort of like her in a way (I'm mostly like Tsubaki from KareKano..) but that doesn't really matter. Well, what I look for in a websites is content, originality, and creativity. I hate seeing sites with content that is recycled. Sailormoon sites are especially like that and it gets extremely annoying to review. But the sites that are like those I give my most to help that person make it better. I don't care much for the layout but I'd like it better if you made the layout yourself. If you're commited in making a website, should you make your own layout as well? Well to me, it doesn't matter whether it's ugly or messy, but if you have great content and originality, all that wouldn't matter.

As a reviewer, I'm mostly critical, honest, and very opinionated. I'll tell you exactly what I think. But here and there, I can be immature. So bare with that, that's just me. In my older reviews, I especially was like that. But as time when by I've gotton a little bit more serious.

I also hate those people who make sites with just gorgeous layout, but no content whatsoever. For example those Asuka shrines. There are those Asuka shrines who have beautiful layouts, but I looked through them and I see nothin at all. They have "Past", "Love", "Pilot" and that's it? Com'on people, Asuka is way more than just three topics. Not only that, but the information is wrong, they say she was adopted by a foster family? Sometimes all they really do is say "Oh yeah, Asuka is really a bitch in Eva." ::irritated:: I only found ONE thorough shrine of Asuka which is Second Savior. This goes as well with those so-called "comprehensive" Shinji shrines (if there is more than one). Gah, whatever. Shinji is more than just a paragraph on his past, WAY more. That just shows how I don't go for layouts. I'm not impressed by layouts, and I'll get extremly annoyed if you have a beautiful layout with no content whatsoever. But I'm not saying you shouldn't have a nice layout, just that have content as well. Content is the most important. What are people to look at when there isn't anything to do/read in your site? You can't expect them to just stare and pick their nose, right?

Well that's all for now.. taa taa..

I'm Eternal Angel, one of the strange guardians of Yume to the Miru. And the requirements for having a dreamy site would be having Larva in it. Yes, having a lot of Larva would be very dream enough. *drools*

*watches as Aurora-hime raises her eyebrow*

Fine, Larva does NOT have to be in the site, but this is what I believe should be in a site. Good content (something that isn't so repetitious and is fun to check out), originality (something that is unique to your own site, that can be trademarked only to you), organized layout (I have to know where to find things… right?), good explication of content (although some have a lot of 'content' per se, to be able to describe, or add to the content to make it a complete page or section is what defines a good explication), a flare of uniqueness that is memorable (your site should make people want to come back and visit it for the special aspects that it holds), and a blue haired vampire bish found in the manga/anime Vampire Princess Miyu (drools). Yes, that's all it takes to please my heart.

This is Rebo Valence, named for an odd way to nickname "Rebecca" and the binding capacity of atoms. Not because I'm chemistry nut, but because I thought it made a cool name. I should probably mention I picked that name in middle school and have held onto it since. As far as anime goes, I am a shoujo-holic. Particularly the mahou shoujo genre. Despite the fact I first started watching it eight years ago, Sailormoon is still my favorite anime. I've seen the entire first season fansubbed and came to really hate the dub because of that. Sailormoon also lead me into anime in general, and I've been a lost soul ever since. Still, I'm not too obsessed to admit that Sailormoon sites tend to be the worst on the web.

I didn't really get into web design until the past year, but before that, I have maintained small sites on and off for the past five years. Because of that, I've learned to build all my websites the old fashioned way by typing out all the coding into Notepad. Style sheets, tables, div layers, everything by hand. Thus I get a bit upset when somebody's got a lousy website they just threw together with Pagebuilder. HTML can be tough, especially when coding tables, but with the plethora of tutorial websites out there, a simple, functional website should not be a difficult task as long as you put a bit of effort into it.

As far as my reviewing goes, I try to be tough but fair. I put content leagues above layout. As far as I'm concerned, as long as you can put together a layout that functions and doesn't burn my eyes out, you're good. I want to find new and different concepts and loads of things to do and read. I'm not going to come back again and again for just to see your layout! Oh, and for the love of God, make your own layout! If you want to make your mark on the web, you can't just recycle a layout from a popular archive, you're going to have to do it yourself. It may be hard, but trust me, you will get better with practice and you'll get respect for doing it yourself. I am probably very critical, but I've spent years lurking through review sites and I suppose it rubbed off on me. As I said before, I love Sailormoon, but there are very few Sailormoon sites I visit with any regularity because the majority of them have no originality. Must I really endure reading for the 4,000th time that Michiru has trouble with sea cucumbers? I also hate when the website starts making things up. It's not too much work for a site on any subject to verify their information. Oh, and please try using proper English. I hate it when people load their pages with abbreviations and slang instead of normal words.

This is Amber-lin, Amby for short! I like both Shojo and Shonen manga, but I'd prefer shojo out of the two. I'm not really into "sugary-sweet" mangas like Card Captor Sakura, but there's some exceptions. I love Angel Sanctuary the most.

In reviews, I can be a little sarcastic, and I give really weird examples, but of course, I always try to be helpful. ^^

Anyways, I'll be impressed if your site has good content, is informative and has good graphics. I love sites that stands out because their content is so original and interesting. I also like it when there is a bunch of things to read-- such as people ranting their opinions out. I love to read people's opinions and what they have to say. What really annoys me, though, is when people says things, and doesn't even bother explaining them-- for example: There was this one site which listed all the things the owner hated and loved.. but the owner didn't even bother explaining why she hated all that stuff! I also don't like sites where cr8tive sp3llng is used, and has a lot of spelling mistakes. Blehk. I would also prefer layouts that you made to layouts that you downloaded from some other site.
I think that's about it...

I've been doing the reviewin' bit for a while now, and I'm in the mood for something different. The current WPR atmosphere has made me ill, so I have packed my things and moved over to a safe haven, the sweet refuge of Yumemiru. I've long admired this site so I'm quite honoured to worked here. ^_^
I respect few people and even fewer websites, so you're going to have to put a lot of work into your site to meet my standards. I appreciate a pretty layout, but lots of written content is even better. I HATE spoilers so don't be offended if I refuse to review something. I swear a lot, insult a lot and most people consider me to the original Basher/Bitch reviewer. Don't worry though, I'm sure you can handle it.
Uhm...what, you want me to say more? >.> CHEESE!!
