All about Yume Miru Happa *Heart Fruit by: Hisaya Nakajo

Whoa! Is it true? Is it finally a shoujo manga this time? Well it's true! It's true. Enough of that Shonen stuff for awhile. I first have to say though that there WAS another layout plan before this one. It was going to be yet another shounen manga but EA decided that we should feature a shoujo story again. And so... we were talking about shoujo manga that had "Yumemiru" in its title and what do you know... she introduced me to this manga called "Yume Miru Happa". If you are familiar with the manga called Hanazakari no Kimitachi E, or HanaKimi for short (incidentaly enough... Mizuki named herself after the lead character of HanaKimi if you didn't notice from her icon), well this short one volume manga was written by the same manga-ka. It's Hisaya Nakajo's first ever manga. "Yume Miru Happa" is a collection of her short stories.

EA's layout features the 6th short story in this manga, titled "Heart Fruit"... She chose this story to feature because she said it was the cutest. And you know Yume is usually almost always for the cuteness in everything. Well, "Heart Fruit" is cute and the character of Ryou in this story is major hotness. But anyway... "Heart Fruit" is about this girl named Meron who likes her guy friend named, Uchiyama but eventually gave him up for her best friend, Chiho, because her best friend liked him too. Meron, so as not to worry Chiho, told her that she liked another person, even though she didn't. And to prove her point that she liked someone else, she confessed her love loudly to a boy named Ryou who has a reputation for being a very cold person. Meron thought that if she confessed to him, the coldest person in school, she would get rejected easily and she is scott free of ever telling her best friend that she really liked Uchiyama too.

But... she was very surprised that she did not get a rejection. It was a simple "Yes" or "No" answer after all, which Ryou didn't say... he just walked away. This made Meron "interested" in this "scary" guy and during lunch, she started to talk to him and realized that Ryou wasn't at all scary. He was actually... sort of shy. Suddenly she begins to like him... an well... Oooh... I shall not spoil it. It's only a one shot chapter after all... so you guys should read it and download it and see for yourself. Go to Shoujomagic and read all about it. If you download it, not only will you have the satisfaction of reading a cute story, you'll get to see Ryou! Whoooo... like I said, he's major hotness.
